TMP offer a range of base solutions designed to complement our complete range of passively safe signage.  All bollards come complete with a standard fixed base.

 

 

Fixing Kit - Product ref:  100007

 

Comprising of 4 x M12 Coach bolts, washers, rawl plugs and capts, the TMP Fixing Kit is required for all surface mounted installations of our passive safety signage.

 

 

Cast-in Cage - Product ref:  100006

 

Manufactured from galvanised steel the TMP Cast-in Cage system is recommended for new build schemes and soft earth applications.  Simply concrete in and attach the fixed base for increased stability in case of impact.  Please click here for Installation details

 

 

Universal Converter  - Product ref:  100161

 

Manufactured from steel with hot dip, galvanised and polyester powder coated finish in matt black, the TMP Universal Converter allows quick and easy installation of the TMP passive safety bollard range over existing lit bollard base plates without the need for break out of base light and ground box.

Haldo Type Converter - Product ref:  100162

Portable Base  - Product ref:  100003

 

Manufactured from 100% recycled rubber, the portable base is ideal for temporary applications and is quick and easy to install.  No additional weight is required.

Suitable for use with all TMP passive safety signage, TMP Tuff CurbTM can be used for either permanent or temporary applications.  Equipped with our IRS Quick Release System signage installation takes only seconds.  Uniquely designed ribs on the underside of the kerb transfer the load to the road surface eliminating stress to the mounting hardware.

Authorisation


All TMP bollards, with the exception of the Opal require authorisation by the DfT for their use.


Once authorisation has been received, the TMP Metro® can be used in the following locations:


  • In any location which falls outside a Street Lighting Scheme i.e. over 50m from a Lighting Column
  • In front of Traffic Signals without the need for any supplementary signage or lighting
  • Centre Islands/Refuges when used in conjunction with a Centre Island Column and an independently lit D610
  • Mounted on a Central Refuge at a Zebra Crossing when used in combination with two belisha beacon globes mounted on a Centre Island Column or on separate posts
  • Side Road Junctions when used in conjunction with a Centre island Column with an independently lit D610
